Hey, I'm Jan – former ice hockey player, host of Pension Leuchtenburg and certified Wim Hof instructor.
For years, I pursued my dream of a professional career – until a severe concussion changed everything. Then came the crash: burnout, depression, complete exhaustion. Even a short run or meeting up with friends became an insurmountable hurdle.
Then I stumbled across the Wim Hof Method – and suddenly there was life in the old dog again.
The combination of breathing, cold and mental focus gave me the kick I needed to get back on my feet. Step by step, my energy, clarity and zest for life returned.
Today, I share exactly what helped me: how you can reconnect with yourself and nature through breathing, cold and presence.
Together with Kat – my ‘partner in crime’ – we run the Leuchtenburg guesthouse, creating a place for authentic experiences, tranquillity and vitality.

Evenings are deliberately open: time for exchange, reflection & rest – without any set programme.
