"Hey, I'm Jan - former ice hockey player, host of Pension Leuchtenburg and certified Wim Hof Instructor.

For years I chased my dream of a professional career until a serious concussion changed everything. Does it really work, or is it just cold water and hot air?

Do I really have to jump into ice water?

Then you've come to the right place! The Wim Hof Method shows you how to train your body and mind to cope with the cold. And who knows, maybe you'll soon become a fan of winter.

Can I just do the breathing exercises and skip the cold part?

Is it dangerous?

Don't worry, I'll be with you every step of the way and make sure everything stays safe. Important: always listen to your body. It's not about records, it's about your personal experience.

Is there an age limit for the workshops?

Whether you're 18 or 80 – as long as you're healthy and ready for a new experience, you're welcome to join us. (But children under 18 need to be accompanied by their mum or dad.)

Can I expect superpowers afterwards?

Well, you may not be able to fly or climb walls, but you will feel stronger, more focused and more resilient. That's almost as good, isn't it?

What should I bring with me?

Courage, curiosity and some warm clothes for afterwards. Oh, and swimming trunks or a bikini – for the ultimate ice bath photo!

Is the Wim Hof Method NOT suitable for anyone?

Yes, there are three contraindications for the Wim Hof Method: pregnant women, people suffering from epilepsy, and people with Raynaud's syndrome (type II). The method is not suitable for these groups.
